A Letter to the Curious Traveler
I was 28 years old before ever leaving Texas. Stepping on to that first international flight felt both exciting and intimidating. When I arrived in the Republic of Georgia I encountered more than just a new destination-I came away with a new way of seeing the world. That journey quieted an ache I had carried deep within my soul and ignited a passion for understanding the world, its people, and the stories waiting to be revealed.
Forward & Fernweh was created to share that same sense of wonder and to encourage others to move beyond the familiar. Travel isn’t just about where we go, it’s about who we become along the way.
